GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 595493
horizontal scrollbar does not slide with mouse wheel over it
Last modified: 2009-09-17 21:52:53 UTC
Using GNOME 2.26.1 1. Open Epiphany such that there is an available horizontal scrollbar. 2. Hover mouse over horizontal scrollbar. 3. Rotate the mousewheel (mouse wheel) Actual results: A4. Epiphany scrolls vertically, if available. Expected results: E4. They should scroll horizontally, if available. Note that some other apps do work. Working: Nautilus 2.26.2 gedit 2.26.1 Thunar 1.0.0 Mousepad 0.2.16 Not working: OpenOffice.org 3.1.1 (OOO310m19) Firefox 3.5.3pre
Thanks for taking the time to file this bug report. This bug is a duplicate of bug 319013. I suggest you try again with Epiphany 2.27.92 (based on WebKit) because the problem was caused by Mozilla. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 319013 ***
Apparently the bug is valid for the WebKit backend as well: https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29348
