create a testvideo like this
gst-launch videotestsrc num-buffers=200 pattern=2 ! timeoverlay font-desc="Sans 80" ! ffenc_mpeg4 ! qtmux ! filesink location=$HOME/video/counter.mp4

import into pitivi and drag to timeline. zoom in a lot. thumbnails should show timestamps in ascending order, but show them in random order (screenshot follows).

gstreamer and pitiv are from git head of today.

Stefan, does this still happen with 0.13.3 or pitivi git?
Comment 4 Stefan Sauer (gstreamer, gtkdoc dev) 2010-02-08 13:55:36 UTC
I retested and it seems to be fixed.
