Please describe the problem:
xmllint --html --xmlout emits unclosed tags.

Steps to reproduce:
xmllint --xmlout --html - <<< '<link>'

Actual results:

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?

Other information:
This is a regression.  Subversion r3789 works correctly, r3790 does not.

Okay, a side effect to the switch to new save APIs, it's limited
to xmllint, just adding the flag fixed it :

paphio:~/XML -> xmllint --xmlout --html tst.html 
<?xml version="1.0" standalone="yes"?>
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN" "">
