Please describe the problem: Description of problem: U+0CE2 and U+0CE3 do not show the correctly shape Steps to reproduce: 1.Type the unicode, like U+0CE2 and U+0CE3 Actual results: character not display with dotted circle Expected results: character should display with dotted circle, as it is matra Does this happen every time? yes Other information: original bug filed https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=497309
Created attachment 137738 [details] Screenshot showing correct rendering of U+0CE2 and U+0CE3 As per http://std.dkuug.dk/JTC1/sc2/wg2/docs/n2860.pdf, [Figure 2] shows illustration of '0CE2' KANNADA VOWEL SIGN VOCALIC L and '0CE3' KANNADA VOWEL SIGN VOCALIC LL. Additionally, from http://unicode.org/charts/PDF/U0C80.pdf following can be concluded: 1) U+OCE2 is a dependent vowel mark (_db) and attaches to the base of the glyph. 2) U+OCE3 is a dependent vowel mark (_db) and attaches to the base of the glyph. From comment #1 Pravin, can you confirm that screenshot is fine? If yes, the I would upload the patch.
