Description Simos Xenitellis 2009-01-19 13:23:34 UTC
There is work going on to be able to commit individual PO files through damned-lies.

Considering that this work is completed, I describe here the workflow for an option to be able to commit archives of PO files.

For the case where you want to upload many PO files at once, it should be feasible to adapt damned-lies to accept .tar.gz/.zip files with several PO files instead of a single PO file.
As long as the filenames are unique and descriptive enough, it should be easy to auto-add them.

The workflow would be something like
1. You visit your language page at l10n.gnome.org where you can get the .tar.gz of the current PO files (see the link at the end at
http://l10n.gnome.org/languages/el/gnome-2-26/ui/
2. Translate/Update one or more PO files and repackage them to a .tar.gz/.zip.
3. Upload through a general upload page for your language (http://l10n.gnome.org/languages/el/). You would need to be a commiter to view this upload form.
4. After uploading, you get a list of PO files that got accepted, and a list of PO files that have been rejected because they are might either been already reserved, are being proofread, are being submitted, etc.
