I need the device name as given by "hcitool scan" as well. And there must be a default PIN code somewhere, otherwise it doesn't actually need pairing, and will accept any connections (or does it have a display?)

The pin code is 0000 according to owner.

As for hcitool scan, I have found one occurence here : http://hakutai.org/zaurus/gps.html
