Description stevebergay 2008-07-30 18:17:40 UTC
Preferences window (dialog box) too big. It can not be resized, and clicking on the buttons causes the box to jump around, so that buttons don't all work.
I've seen this reported but haven't found a fix on line.

Distribution: Ubuntu 8.04 (hardy)
Gnome Release: 2.22.2 2008-06-03 (Ubuntu)
BugBuddy Version: 2.22.0

I want to emphasize that in previous reports of this bug it has been ranked as low priority, because it has been described as just a problem with the size of the dialog box. But, since I can not click the buttons as I mentioned, I can not even edit my current account. So, my Evolution is not fully functional and I think this needs to be higher priority.

"previous reports of this bug"? Don't tell me you file duplicates by purpose! ;-)

Sorry about reporting a duplicate bug. I am new to this and wasn't clear on what the report bug thing would do. I was hoping I would be pointed to a solution, not just a link showing that this has been known since 2004!
I did figure out how to move the dialog box using alt click, in order to move buttons away from the edge of the screen so they are clickable. So that helps.
