Do you use glib 2.17.3?
I see strange crashes too with it (Nautilus won't even start, it just always segfaults) on Ubuntu Ibex after the last update. Bringing glib back to 2.17.2 works fine here, so it might be a glib problem.
Comment 2 Cosimo Cecchi 2008-07-04 07:48:34 UTC
Sebastien Bacher on IRC told me the crashes I'm experiencing are a GLib 2.17.3 upstream bug [1]. So if you're using that version too, it's very likely you're hitting that bug as well.

Yes, this is with glib 2.17.3. Could be that crash.
Comment 4 Cosimo Cecchi 2008-07-04 08:00:27 UTC
Do you have the chance to test if the patch linked in my previous comment solves the bug for you?
Comment 5 Götz Waschk 2008-07-04 14:22:52 UTC
The patch fixed it, thanks.
