Within <a href="http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=532650">this bug</a>, gaburt <a href="http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=532650#c2">mentioned</a> that it'd be nice if metadata writes were kept on a separate dedicated queue, which would periodically flush requested disk writes at the same time. This bug is a holder for that feature.

Perhaps this is already done. I see in code that those metadata writings are done in a Schedule (TrackEditorDialog.cs 561-569).

Indeed, the new TrackEditorDialog uses the scheduler.

I'm closing this as obsolete, feel free to re-open.
