Description Olivier Le Thanh Duong 2008-04-11 15:10:20 UTC
When creating a new MUC room pidgin offer a dialog to configure its option : Title, password protection, persistence, advertising, etc... Empathy doesn't provide anyway to modify those (you can just change the Title).
Comment 1 Xavier Claessens 2008-04-11 16:20:22 UTC
Those properties can only be set after joining the muc, it needs changes in tp spec to be able to set them before joining. That's planned with the future requestotry smcv is working on.
Comment 2 Guillaume Desmottes 2008-04-13 17:05:18 UTC
Anyway, be able to modify properties of an already joined muc is worth too.

As I can see, it's implemented in Telepathy: http://telepathy.freedesktop.org/doc/telepathy-glib/TpBaseRoomConfig.html

This feature is essential.
