Description Johannes Berg 2008-02-28 15:39:35 UTC
Today I was working on a screencast made with byzanz, i.e. an animated gif file with around 1000 layers. I had to edit it in the middle and it was very painful to do because there is no way to select multiple layers and toggle their visibility etc. at once.

Alternatively, having buttons for "toggle visibility of all layers" would have been enough, but allowing to select multiple layers seems more general (though also more work since each tool will have to be evaluated for that case)

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.

Note that shift-clicking on the eye icon next to a layer allows you to make all the other layers visible or invisible. See also: http://docs.gimp.org/en/gimp-dialogs-structure.html#gimp-dialogs-icon-eye
