Description Runa Bhattacharjee 2008-01-10 11:07:33 UTC
Please include Bengali India (bn_IN) in the list of Translation Teams under "Voucher" in the new account page on mango

https://mango.gnome.org/new_account.php
Comment 1 shankar 2008-01-10 11:24:16 UTC
Even the Kannada (Team kn) is also missing from that page
Comment 2 sandeep 2008-01-10 11:29:43 UTC
Marathi Team (mr_IN) too is not listed in the list of Translation Teams under
"Voucher" in the new account page on mango. Refer bug 508482.

I wonder if it would be possible to build the list dynamically from Damned Lies. Is it a good idea? What interface would be needed?
Comment 4 Olav Vitters 2008-01-10 18:48:21 UTC
Same answer as the other bug:

To be listed on Mango, the translation coordinator has to have an SVN account.
For this language that is not the case (see
http://l10n.gnome.org/people/x-sayamindudasgupta). Without SVN the coordinator
cannot approve, nor can it be listed. So not a bug.

I've made a manual script which interfaces with Damned Lies. I'll update it every so often (probably 2-3 months). It cannot be linked automatically.

Ermm - I'm not sure why the x-sayamindudasgupta thing is there. I'm the coordinator for bn_IN (http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-i18n/2006-July/msg00172.html), and my SVN account username is sayamindu.
Comment 6 Claude Paroz 2008-01-10 21:57:02 UTC
Sorry Sayamindu, I corrected your SVN account in Damned-Lies.

@Olav: Couldn't we direct SVN account requests to gnome-i18n spokesperson when there is no language coordinator with SVN account, and let the complete language list on Mango interface? Or else we should provide an explanation (footnote) telling requestors what to do when their language is not in the list...
Comment 7 Runa Bhattacharjee 2008-02-01 06:16:51 UTC
The bn_IN team is still not listed in mango. Apologies for bugging, but can we get some updates on this please.
Comment 8 sandeep 2008-07-02 06:21:30 UTC
Even Marathi (mr) too is not listed in mango.

If Team co-ordinator doesn't have SVN account then should other members in the team suffer for not getting SVN account?

Thanks in advance.
