Description Mike 2007-02-12 08:56:12 UTC
I have the win32 build of 1.7.6, and it does not seem to support rendering of the Wingdings font. Why should such a standard (or for that matter any) Windows font not be supported?
Comment 1 Morten Welinder 2007-02-13 17:31:00 UTC
Gnumeric treats all fonts the same. Something must be going on at a deeper
level.

What, precisely, is the problem you are observing?
Comment 2 Mike 2007-02-13 18:23:53 UTC
When I attempt to change the cell font to Wingdings, the Wingdings font is not listed in the font dialog. It is in AbiWord, however.

I can reproduce this. Webdings doesn't show up in the font selection drop down on the main screen, nor in the font tab of the format cells dialog.

According to Help > About, I'm using 1.9.1. I'm running Windows XP sp2
Comment 5 Jody Goldberg 2009-02-06 03:24:43 UTC
Still reproduceable in 1.9.4.
