Description Colin Leroy 2007-01-15 14:43:32 UTC
It would be great if the clock could get calendar events from something else than Evolution.

A .gnome2/clock-calendars.d/ directory (for example), containing files, each with an URI (http://blah/calendar.ics or file:///home/$user/calendar.ics), would allow other calendar-handling applications to be able to publish their data easily to the clock.

We're using evolution-data-server, so it should probably be done there. There are no plans to get events without e-d-s.
Comment 2 Milan Crha 2018-12-11 07:27:16 UTC
This is already possible with an On This Computer calendar with custom file path provided, thus I'm closing this.
