Description Tudor Vaida 2007-01-04 01:47:31 UTC
I hope that these UML objects will be taken into consideration for future enhancements. The UML drawing is described here:
http://www.w3.org/TR/scxml/#complex-state
http://www.w3.org/TR/scxml/#parallel-states
http://www.w3.org/TR/scxml/#blocking

There is already a parent shape which would fit the Complex state, the AADL - System. The initial transition can be drawn with an UML - State Term and an UML - Transition object, though the UML - State Term would have to separate between start/initial/end states with an SCXML exporter in view.

For the parallel state I believe there aren't any already defined shapes, it would basically have to support children compartments.

For the join state there is also a matching shape, the UML - Fork/union, it would need he ability to be vertical as well and to accept transitions.
