Description ptk 2006-07-27 17:47:21 UTC
PROBLEM
I often have to move few layers several times. Each time I want to do this I have to select and unselect a lot of layers because gimp doesn't support multiple linking.

SOLUTION
1. Multiple linking. It may look like this:
Array ML could store names of layers that are linked, separated with "," for example (ML[1]="Name1, Name2, Name3"; ML[3]="Name8, Name12").
To avoid errors, already linked layers should have linking possibility disabled
User couldn't also give layer name containing ","

2. Even without #1 solution gimp should have option that allow to deselect all linked layers with one click.
