At version 1.0.8 we still havn't got a forward icon for forwarded
messages. Please give this a little bit of attention. It must be a
pretty simple fix. I'll even attached a forward icon.

Comment 4 Jeffrey Stedfast 2002-07-23 22:27:21 UTC
how did this end up as 1.0.x?

btw, this feature will not interop well with other mail clients if we
implement it because IMAP for example cannot store this flag.

this will really only be useful on the local machine.
Comment 5 Oliver Jones 2002-07-23 23:54:53 UTC
IMAP can't store this flag eh. How suck! I use IMAP. :( Not that I
use many other clients besides Evo. I'm pretty sure other clients
show flags like this tho even with IMAP. How do they do it? Just
storing the info locally or something? Or perhaps a custom header
inserted into the mailstore.

I'm not overly concerned it was just that every now and again I'm
scratching my head saying 'Did I forward that to Foo?' and I have to
search my sent mail to check.

Comment 6 Jeffrey Stedfast 2002-07-24 00:06:23 UTC
if/when we implement this, we'll be storing the "forwarded" flag
locally, I'm guesing that this is what iother clients do too since you
can't add a header to messages on the imap server either. You have to
download the message, add the header, upload the message and delete
the original.
