GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 168331
Per-playlist play orders
Last modified: 2018-05-24 10:41:36 UTC
When I make a playlist of an album I like to listen to the album straight through from first song to last. I propose that each playlist should remember the state of shuffle and repeat. So My 'library' should always be in shuffle mode and repeat mode even if i turn both of those off in my playlist called "The dark side of the moon"
Retitling to make clearer.

This would be solved by: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=144124 Would it not?
No, that it for adding a new play order that picks an album randomly, plays it, and then picks another album randomly. This bugs is for letting you choose play orders for specific playlists. So you could have a playlist that play in normal (linear) order regardless of what you have the main play order set to.
