Description Andreas J. Guelzow 2004-09-14 17:31:13 UTC
Open Gnumeric
The zoom box in the toolbar shows 100%.
Select the 100 and type 50.
Click on the sheet.
THe zoom box now shows 50% but the sheet is still shown at 100%.

It works if you hit [Enter] up there.
Comment 2 Jody Goldberg 2004-09-15 14:44:04 UTC
yes, it only updates on activate. We could try to play some games with focus
events, but that becomes somewhat window manager specific.

eg if we update whenever the entry loses focus we end up doing it even when
someone uses a global accelerator, or if someone uses focus follows mouse and
jostles the mouse.

This is a common problem we'd want to solve it for the combo, and for expr-entries
Comment 3 Andreas J. Guelzow 2004-09-15 17:02:51 UTC
As a minimum <tab> which is frequently used to switch between boxes should
trigger the change.
