Description Laxminarayan Kamath 2004-04-13 06:31:24 UTC
Bump-Mapping in "Map-object" would be great. For some things like Plane
mapping, we use the gimp's bump-map first and then Map them to the plane. But
for most other situations in map-object, the original bump-map does not look
good. Or at least not as good as if Map-object does it itself, using its light
properties, angle, etc.In sphere, the angle and elevation varies along the
image.

Asking for features in the MapObject plug-in is not going to yield much since at
the moment noone maintains this plug-in. Attaching a patch would very much
increase the likelihood of such a change.
