GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 134287
session management warning
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Now that session saving is the default, it's glaringly horrible what stock gnome apps don't support session saving. At the moment, of the apps I use, it is only the sticky notes applet :/ So, every time I log out, I get this reminder that two of my windows aren't session managed- my two open sticky notes. I'm tentatively marking this TARGET2.6.0 because I think it would be really pretty embarassing for GNOME to ship an app or applet that causes this very large error message every time it is used and every time a user logs out. Loban, if you could fix this before 2.6.0, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks- Luis
I have no idea how to fix this. Loban seems to have dropped off the face of the Earth ;) Probably an simple fix for people who know these things.
Ugh, suck about Loban. I guess I'll ask on d-d-l for someone to look at it?
that would be cool Luis. I'm sure it's a one-line fix or something.
Created attachment 25179 [details] [review] Patch to fix warning.
This adds session management (I.e., tells the session manager to ignore us.)
Great! Thanks Chris. Please commit.
