Description Alan Horkan 2003-05-23 10:56:36 UTC
Rather than having to reduce your drawing to exactly the bits you want in
you shape and then save and then import there should be an easy way to
directly add the current selection to the current sheet.

A menu item would be nice, even better would be to also be able to drag
and drop. I have not though through the details of how best to implement
this but I got the idea from another vector graphics program and it would
improve usability by helping to greatly streamline a task I do regularly
(ie Creating lots of new shapes).

putting this in the general component even if underneath it involves
export and shapes it is primarly a front end thing.
