Description pliszka 2003-04-16 20:41:13 UTC
Hi!

I would like to ask for a small and relatively simple enhancement.

This concerns:

Format->Cells->Number->Number

In the simple version:

Could you please add checkbox: "Reverse colors" which when checked
makes positive numbers red and negative ones black.
This is because some of my
credit cards report charges with + while other with -.
And I want to have all my charges black while all my payments red.

In the more complicated version:

Colors for both positive and negative numbers and 0 are user
selectable.

Could you please add this cool enhancement ?

Thanks in advance.

BR,

Jacek Pliszka

This is already possible with custom formats. They're XL style and
suck a good deal.

We should either close this (since it can already be done) or change
the topic to "Improve custom format creation interface".

Then please add something allowing fast choosing of user-defined
formats like custom1, custom2 etc.

Or allow adding user defined formats to number. The one I personally
want is this one:
[Blue]#,##0.00_);[Red]-#,##0.00 and this one:
[Blue]#,##0.00_);[Black]-#,##0.00
