Description Chris Picton 2002-11-27 10:35:15 UTC
Strange bug....

I have only seen this with evolution so far.

My panel is using now 59M of mem (line taken from top)
8412 chrisp 9 0 60860 59M 8928 S 0.0 15.7 0:12 gnome-panel

In evolution, I click reply on any message (or new message)

Panel mem usage is now 66M
8412 chrisp 9 0 68112 66M 8928 S 0.0 17.6 0:13 gnome-panel

I close the new evolution window:

Panel mem usage is now 73M
8412 chrisp 9 0 75320 73M 8928 S 0.0 19.4 0:14 gnome-panel

The memory is never freed up.

I havent found that opening other app windows (other than evo) so far has
any effect.

Looks like a duplicate of bug 98330

Not sure if you're using ximian snapshots, though. Add comments about
what you're seeing (and if you're still seeing problems in later
versions) to that report. Thanks
