How often does this happen? Every time the PC is started. Additional Information: THis was an upgrade from RH7.1 (no problem ever occured) to RH8.0. Logging in as root let work well also in Gnome. Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/gnome-panel' (no debugging symbols found)...(no debugging symbols found)...[New Thread 8192 (LWP 1284)] 0x420ae169 in wait4 () from /lib/i686/libc.so.6
