GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 97444
web links trailing ">.|*etc*" are caught on clicking.
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
..clicking "Linux Terminal Server Project, <http://www.ltsp.org/>." in message Message-ID: <m3hef1bepr.fsf@benzen.eiendomsnett.no>, returns: "** (pan:18057): WARNING **: Invalid UTF-8 sequence encountered pan-Message: galeon --new-tab 'http://www.ltsp.org/>.' Message: Galeon already running, using existing process "-lines in my xterm. ..it should instead fire up a new: "galeon --new-tab 'http://www.ltsp.org/'", without the trailing ">." or other ">*"-variants, Pan and|or Galeon seems to assume any trailing character an url, is part of the url. ..trivial but subtle, newbies might not catch it and might instead dismiss pan/galeon/gnome(2)/kde(3)/X/linux as buggy, so I call it "minor". rpm -q galeon pan galeon-1.2.6-0.8.0 pan-0.13.1-nospell1
