Description Calum Benson 2002-10-31 19:09:29 UTC
In Sun's internal build 12, and on my latest linux build from head (October
9th), Alt-Esc is broken-- it's basically just doing the same as Alt-Tab
(but without the popup), rather than raising each window in turn.
Comment 1 Havoc Pennington 2002-10-31 19:48:11 UTC
There are no minimized windows involved here, right?
Comment 2 Calum Benson 2002-11-01 10:29:47 UTC
Seeing the same behaviour for both minimized and visible windows. The
black outline appears around them as you cycle, but they're not being
raised.
Comment 3 Heath Harrelson 2002-11-01 14:34:46 UTC
Upping priority since this is a regression, presumably.
Comment 4 Calum Benson 2002-11-07 15:00:13 UTC
Hmm, this seems to work in Sun's build fcs-01, though, which comes
after build 12 but before my build from head :/
Comment 5 Havoc Pennington 2002-11-20 04:06:19 UTC
With latest, windows do raise as you cycle (and have the black
outline, not sure we want that).

They don't get focused because we have a keyboard grab. :-/
Probably should get focused. Another thing blocking on #90382

Updating status_whiteboard field to reflect A11Y team's assessment
of accessibility impact.

Apologies for spam... marking as GNOMEVER2.3 so it appears on the official GNOME
bug list :)

Closing, can't reproduce this anywhere any more.
