Hi,

If the themes capplet is told to install a theme which is not a valid
gtk2 theme, it will unpack it into ~/.themes, with no check or
indication as to whether it is correct.  Quite confusing IMO -- I didn't
realize some of the "gtk2" themes on freshmeat were misfiled until I
opened up the tarfiles manually.
