Package: gnome-panel Severity: normal Version: 2.0.6 Synopsis: gnome-panel crash upon login Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel Bugzilla-Component: Panel BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.0.3) Description: Description of Problem: Gnome-panel crashes on *any* user that has previously logged in, and is not recoverable. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Upgrade to Red Hat 8.0 2. Run redhat network upgrade to upgrade packages 3. Logout out and then log back in. Watch your desktop become completely unusable. Actual Results: gnome-panel crashes at login and cannot be recovered, rendering desktop virtually unusable. Expected Results: gnome-panel should start-up and allow me to use it. How often does this happen?
