Description Michael 2002-10-16 10:02:58 UTC
In RedHat 8.0, I decided to switch from the default Metacity window manager
back to trusty old Sawfish. I ran # killall metacity; sawfish & to
actually peform the switch, then I saved my gnome session. Everything has
worked fine except for titlebar fonts in Sawfish. It works fine with no
font specified, but as soon as I specify a font, the titlebar blanks out.
The titlebar remains blank regardless of which font I choose.

Steps to repeat:

1. Log into Gnome 2.0 using Metacity as a window manager in RH 8.0
2. run: killall metacity; sawfish &
3. Save your gnome session, logout, login
4. From the applications menu:
  Applications ->
  Extras ->
  Preferences ->
  Sawfish window manager ->
  Window Appearence
5. Click the Browse button beside the Default Font selector.
6. Choose any font in the list and apply. Exit the Sawfish configurator.
7. Observe the sawfish window titlebars.
