Description of Problem:
Battery Applet crashes upon starting Gnome2 (Red Hat 8.0).

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Login to Gnome2
2. 
3. 

Actual Results:
Error message that batt-stat(?)-applet has crashed.

Expected Results:
Normal startup, battery applet in panel.

How often does this happen?
Has happened on two separate occassions.
