Description aisaac 2002-09-23 14:16:22 UTC
The default ellipse and box objects are perfect circles and squares.
This is good. But
there is currently no way to keep the aspect
ratio fixed when resizing them.

Many
drawing programs allow the use of the SHIFT key to hold
the aspect ratio of ellipse and box
objects fixed.

Please add this feature.

I filed a bug about aspect ratio, which i think covers this.
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87966

I also added various shapes to CVS, a whole sheet of Assorted Geomtric
shapes.
This included a Perfect Square and Perfect Circle (which were actually
a Polygon with equal sides and Elipse rather than svg:square or
svg:cicle with the Aspect Ratio set to fixed in the XML file).

I will take your silence as agreement
(wish i could remember that latin expression ...)
