Description Mark Finlay 2002-09-22 21:07:01 UTC
If there is now registry gstreamer prints:

GStreamer-ERROR **: No default scheduler name - do you have a registry ?
aborting...

It would be more ideal if it told the user to run gst-register as root -
maybe even offer to run it and ask for a password.

Would it be possible to add it to make install?

fixed in CVS. gst-register should not be done for various reasons
during make install. I updated the README with better instructions,
so we can point people there ;)
Warning is fixed in CVS
