Description Evert Verhellen 2002-09-17 20:41:35 UTC
Description:
gedit2 doesn't behave correctly (it even acts strangely) when the [Page Up]
or [Page Down] key is held down for some time and the application window is
maximized (though this isn't a strict requirement to reproduce the problem).

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Start gedit2.
2. Press [Ctrl]+[O] to display the "Open File ..." dialog.
3. Type "/etc/services" and press [Enter].
4. Maximize the application window.
5. Hold down the [Page Down] key for some time.

Actual Results:
After a while, gedit2 acts strangely. See for yourself!

Expected Results:
Eventually, the cursor should reach the end of the document.

How often does this happen?
Always.

Additional Information:
The same story goes for the [Page Up] key.

Reopening because the bug is back. I guess it's gtksourceview this time.
Comment 3 Paolo Maggi 2003-09-26 16:45:26 UTC
It is not a gtksourceview or gedit bug since I can reproduce it with
testtext.
