Add bevel to a text causes Gimp to resize the image,
cuts away most of the text and does not add any bevel.

You choose a color, you choose a font, you type a word,
you choose Script-Fu/Decor/Add_Bevel with default Config
and hit OK.

This problem appears since ages, but it seems only to appear
on FreeBSD-Systems.

I was unable to exactly reproduce the error you got.  I did find 2 other
ways to make Bad Things happen though

1) Try to run it on a floating selection (default after creating text)
will crash gimp

2) PDB error if create a new layer and run it on that layer.

I'll look into both of these further, but if you could tell me how you
got your error I'd still appreciate it...
