GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 92863
Panel crashed.
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: gnome-panel Severity: major Version: 1.4.0.4 Synopsis: Panel crashed. Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel Bugzilla-Component: Panel Description: This has been an intermittent problem on this laptop (Dell 8200) since I bought it in July: occasionally the panel crashes, sometimes the applets themselves fail to come up. It seems to happen more reliably when I start in power-save mode (i.e., either without the power plugged in or with a lower-power transformer than was shipped with the machine, which in theory is simply supposed to reduce the clock frequency of the cpu).
