Description mbraca 2002-09-09 13:25:51 UTC
Package: gnome-panel
Severity: normal
Version: 1.4.0.4
Synopsis: Panel seg faults after upgrade to red hat 7.3
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel
Bugzilla-Component: Panel

Description:
Upgraded from red hat 7.1 to red hat 7.3; when I log in the brushed steel bar for the panel appears, but nothing is drawn on it. After a while I get notified that the panel seg faulted and died. Note that I selected that new panel defaults should be set rather than preserving my old settings.

This crash still hasn't been fixed in 1.4.x. We sadly have to admit
that nobody has been able to find the cause. It's not a problem in 2.0.x.
