Description Pier Luigi Fiorini 2002-08-30 09:26:04 UTC
cddb-slave-properties has a really bad UI.

1) we need to fix some spacing between widgets
2) users shouldn't care about 'round robin'
3) apply shouldn't exist

I'll do a mockup soon, and a patch if the mockup will be accepted.

Pier: if you assign a bug to yourself, it's unlikely to be commented
on/approved by others. Iain, any thoughts?
Comment 3 Iain 2002-11-18 23:20:12 UTC
Could you attach a screenshot of the window rather than a glade file?
I don't have glade installed I don't think...

Yeah, thats quite nice....
Comment 6 Kjartan Maraas 2003-06-09 12:31:46 UTC
Did the patch go AWOL? :)
Comment 7 Luis Villa 2003-07-11 01:55:25 UTC
Well, the first attachment is a glade file which should help the
spacing and such, but it doesn't actually make it instant apply, which
is a pre-req for removing the 'apply' button. :)

[FWIW, Ted, fixing the apply button is totally covered under the UI
review, so if you want to do it in the next few weeks go wild :)

Please note that I've made another proposal. I attached mockups and
screenshots to #117558.
Sorry for ommitting this bug report, I couldn't find it using the
bugzilla search engine.

regs,
 Chris

I'm marking this bug as a dup, not because it is completely, more
because the discussion surrounding the reworking of the CDDB
properties dialog is going on there. I think that this bug will be
solved when that one is complete.
