Description Mamatha 2002-08-29 10:07:54 UTC
Tested on Sun's Gnome 2.0 Beta 2 Build 4 version on a [Multihead]Solaris 9

Some Keyboard shortcuts are not working .

Keyboard Shortcuts such as 'Take a screen shot of the window -Alt+Print',
'Display 'run' dialogue - Alt+F2, 'Popup the panel menu- Alt+F1 ' are not
working in second screen.

This keybindings are monitored by the panel, reassigning to the panel
Comment 2 Luis Villa 2002-09-03 21:53:30 UTC
These work fine here. Are your gconf schemas installed correctly? Have
they been overwritten by sun branding patches?
Comment 3 Mark McLoughlin 2002-09-23 07:21:13 UTC
Mamatha: all these keybindings are defined in a sun branding patch.
Re-open if you find that this isn't actually a problem with a branding
patch ...

I am running Sun's beta 2 build 9 source (17th Sep snapshot from CVS).
Yes, gconf schemas installed correctly.

In 'gconf' window under /apps/metacity/general/global_keybindings,
set the 'switch_to_workspace_2' value as <Alt>a .

I gave a focus on first screen and press <Alt>a .the focus goes to
second workspace.

Now i gave the focus on second screen and doing the same. The focus
does not goes to second workspace.

Mamatha: should this bug actually still be open? Does it non-sun and
still apply to multihead screens?
Comment 6 Mark McLoughlin 2002-10-31 23:02:38 UTC
Mamatha: the last issue you refer to has nothing to do with the
original bug report ...
Comment 7 Andrew Sobala 2002-11-04 16:33:37 UTC
This is a Sun thing
