Description bugzilla.gnome.org 2002-08-11 14:25:14 UTC
When opening jpg, tif, tga files I get an error

"Image resolution is out of bounds"

The image opens though but the opacity of the background layer is set to zero

Looks like yet another duplicate of bug report #85249. Can this be
confirmed?
Comment 2 Raphaël Quinet 2002-08-12 08:53:33 UTC
Sven, remember that you should not insert any word between "bug" and
the number if you want the nice hyperlinks to work. ;-) So here is
another reference to bug #85249 for the lazy ones such as myself.

Anyway, this looks like a duplicate of bug #85249 because it refers
to the same version and same OS, but I will wait for the reporter
(Jens) to mention what compiler and flags were used before marking
this as a duplicate.
Comment 3 bugzilla.gnome.org 2002-08-12 19:00:47 UTC
Yes, you're probably right about the duplicate ...

I get the errors on my Notebook with PIIIm and accroding
optimizations. from my memory they should be

CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu"
CFLAGS="-march=i686 -O3 -pipe"
CXXFLAGS="-march=i686 -O3 -pipe"

I do not get the errors on my Desktop, an Athlon using those
optimizations:
CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu"
CFLAGS="-march=i686 -O2 -pipe -funroll-loops -fomit-frame-pointer"
CXXFLAGS="-march=i686 -O2 -pipe -funroll-loops -fomit-frame-pointer"

Both machines are Gentoo systems, both using gcc-3.2_pre

Thanks for the info. I am marking this as a duplicate of bug #85249.
If you have further comments to add, please add them to the other bug
report, not to this one. Also, you may want to add yourself to the
CC list of the other bug report if you want to be informed about any
updates.
