Running Nautilus 2.0.0 (Red Hat packaging), double
clicking on an icon launches it.  This is correct.
 But if you click on an icon, and the pointer is
moving quickly, and you click on the next one in
the list, it treats it as a double click, even
though the previous click was on a different line
of the list display.

Thanks for filing that bug, but it has already been reported.
Hopefully someone will look at it soon even if it is marked as low
priority
