Description Kurt 2002-07-21 21:21:57 UTC
Package: gnome-panel
Severity: normal
Version: 1.4.0.4
Synopsis: panel crashes on start
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel
Bugzilla-Component: Panel

Description:
When first starting a Gnome session I get an error message and the window manager (sawfish) does not create its usual frame on application windows. Some items in the panel dissapear, the clock for one. If I log out and back in again I don't get the error and the window manager works, but some items on the panel need to be recreated. This happens every time I start a Gnome session from a reboot or halt.
