Workbook-view attributes get saved but not read back in. 

All changes done to the workbook attributes in format->workbook get written
to the XML file (at the top of the file, in fact) but reading this file
again with gnumeric 1.0.8 does not cause the actual attributes to be set to
anything other than their default settings.

This also happens to me. (Debian 1.0.7 and 1.0.8 packages)

the affected attributes are do_autocompletion, show_notebook_tabs,
show_horizontal_scrollbar and show_vertical_scrollbar
