Description Daniel Persson 2002-06-29 00:55:20 UTC
When dragging an application entry in the file meny to the desktop,
all i get is a application.desktop and a standar entry.

Meaning that Nautilus treats it as a text file and not a lanucher.

However, if dragging it first to the Panel, it seems to understand the
.desktop differnet and makes an launher of it. Draggin the new launcer from
the panel to desktop works as expected, you get a Launcher with the
specified icon on your desktop.

Is this a bug or a feature ?

I'm assuming this is a dupe of 83702 which DAve fixed. So please
upgrade to the latest nautilus cvs. If you still experience the bug,
please reopen.
