Description Wolfgang Sourdeau 2002-05-17 04:41:10 UTC
CSV importing does not work correctly for languages which uses the comma
as "floating-point". This might be the case with other import filters.

Since the CSV format uses the comma as field separator, the numbers have
to use the dot as decimal separator. When running Gnumeric under, for
example, the French locale (LC_ALL=fr_CA.ISO8859-1), those numbers are
handled as textual data instead of numerical data.
