GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 80529
Bad bindings defaults - Raise and lower window
Last modified: 2009-08-16 15:13:28 UTC
As default, Sawfish2 has Alt-Up and Alt-Down to raise and lower the window. This prevents the use of the same bindings in Nautilus to open selected items, and to open the parent item.
Sorry, I meant to submit this as a sawfish2 bug. Reassigning.
Nautilus actually has both Alt-Down and Ctrl-O for open, but for Alt-Up there is only one binding. Maybe we should keep the Ctrl-u binding too?
If this is still true for sawfish then it's still a probem for Nautilus. Yes, Alex, ctrl-up and ctrl-down to open parent/child folders are wonderful in nautilus.
I no longer care about sawfish.
