This is a very common bug that really needs to get fixed for GNOME 1.4.1. To help us debug, could you supply some more information: 1. What type of computer is this, and what X server does it use? 2. What OS is this? If you're using Linux, what distribution and version? 3. Are your GNOME packages from Ximian, gnome.org, or your distribution? In the interim, you can try the gnome-libs and gnome-core packages available at http://www.gnome.org/~kmaraas and see if those help. If you do choose to install these packages, it would be a really great help to us if you report back the results. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 59500 ***
1. AMD K6-2 on an ALi chipset. 2. RedHat Linux 7.1 with the nVidia GLX drivers for XFree 4.x. 3. Ximian packages.
