Panel crashes upon entering Gnome occasionally (panel Crash at 64.130.50.101)
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: panel Version: 1.4.0.4 Severity: >Synopsis: Panel crashes upon entering Gnome occasionally >Class: sw-bug System: Default Redhat Linux 7.2 on Dell Inspiron 8000 >Description: When starting X, if Gnome is the window manager, the panel will generate multiple segmentation faults. This problem does not occur each time I start X, but if it happens once, it will generally happen until I reboot the machine. Sometimes that helps, sometimes that doesn't help. >How-To-Repeat: run the script startx after logging into the machine as a normal user. ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2002-04-23 20:33 ------- The original reporter (kotas@cs.utk.edu) of this bug does not have an account here.
