Description kotas 2002-04-24 00:33:07 UTC
Package: panel
Version: 1.4.0.4
Severity:

>Synopsis: Panel crashes upon entering Gnome occasionally
>Class: sw-bug
System: Default Redhat Linux 7.2 on Dell Inspiron 8000

>Description:
When starting X, if Gnome is the window manager, the panel will generate multiple segmentation faults. This problem does not occur each time I start X, but if it happens once, it will generally happen until I reboot the machine. Sometimes that helps, sometimes that doesn't help.

>How-To-Repeat:
run the script startx after logging into the machine as a normal user.
