Description Adam Kalisz 2018-05-26 17:57:25 UTC
If I want to create new email, I write some text and want to copy paste. If I mark the text and press Ctrl + C (to copy it to clipboard) then click where I want to paste, the marked text disappears.
Ctrl + Z doesn't work then. The text is finally gone. It is still in the clipboard though.

I am on Debian 10 testing with all updates. I am running the wayland session if that should matter.

If "click" means "click with middle mouse button" then I cannot reproduce in plain text mode. evolution-3.28.2-1.fc28 and webkit2gtk3-2.20.2-1.fc28.

Is the composer in HTML or in plaintext format? Does it happen with both?

Which webkitgtk version is used?

Thanks for a bug report. WebKitGTK+ and even gtk+ versions matter the most, at least according to bug #794723 and the others mentioned there.
