Gnucash won't parse file on launch

Message is: There was an error parsing the file *.gnucash. Occurred after upgrade to V3.0 However after reverting to V2.6.21 the same error occurs. Trace file: * 17:27:22 WARN <gnc.app-utils> Could not spawn perl: Failed to execute child process (No such file or directory) * 17:27:26 CRIT <gnc.io> [dom_tree_handlers_all_gotten_p()] Not defined and it should be: trn:date-posted * 17:27:26 CRIT <gnc.io> [dom_tree_generic_parse()] didn't find all of the expected tags in the input * 17:27:35 WARN <gnc.backend> [gnc_xml_be_load_from_file()] Syntax error in Xml File C:\Users\MW\Desktop\GnuCashRubbish\Accounts.gnucash Thanks, Mike.
